The determination of the hydrolytic resistance of the inner container
surface is the main focus of chemical analysis. The alkali oxide dissolved
after autoclavation can be determined either by flame spectrometry or by titration.
As part of regular product monitoring, cleanroom-packed containers are inspected
for biological and particle contamination in a state-of-the-art microbiological
laboratory. Advanced cleanroom technology guarantees extremely low particle
and bioburden levels.
In close cooperation with MG, accredited external laboratories perform elaborate,
equipment intensive tests, as for endotoxins, arsenic and tungsten.
